Two months after the accident in the hidden chemical laboratory of Umbrella, a pharmacy- and research company, which has got a foreign branch in Raccoon City, there was an incident once more.

This time it was shocked the secret lab under the city, which can be reached from the sewers near the police station.

But now the virus spread out so quick, that every one if he noticed, it was too late...

Most didn’t noticed at all.

Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Barry Burton and Brad Vickers were the only survivors of 12 S.T.A.R.S. members. They let explode the lab in the forest at the Arklay-mountains.

They were the last rescue for Raccoon, but no one was in town.

Chris and Barry had travelled to the head office of Umbrella in Europe to clear any thing.

The other S.T.A.R.S. members couldn’t be found, as one wanted to ask them for help.

Most worse was that the R.P.D. was built directly above the hidden lab, so the virus attacked nearly all policemen.

Quickly the virus spread out over the total city, no one could tell it to the cities around.

Because of the many strange murders in summer and the afraid population many new officers were geared to the R.P.D.

One of them was Leon Scott Kennedy, who where new to this time in Raccoon.

He started his job at the R.P.D. on this day. When he drove to Raccoon, he tried to call the chief, but he couldn’t.

He wondered, but went on. As he arrived in town, he noticed that something was wrong. No one was on the streets and it was very silent…

No one? He thought wrong, suddenly mutated humans attacked him; they got to zombies by the virus.

He ran through the town to search a place of refuge. He opened a door of a restaurant - a young beautiful woman came to him. If there wouldn’t be this situation, he had asked for the name, but for this it was no time in the moment. Behind the women was a zombie, too. Leon shoot at the head of the monster, it got down. Then they ran to a patrol car. Leon decided to go to the police station, it had to be much safer there, he thought.

While Leon was driving to the station, they introduced. The young woman was called Claire Redfield; she came to Raccoon to find her brother Chris. She heard from him last time two months ago, so she decided to start searching in Raccoon.

Leon tried to speak with the station, but the radio was out. Then he asked Claire for opening the glove compartment. Inside was a handgun; Claire should take it with her for her safety.

Suddenly a zombie jumped of the back of the car to Leon, he frightened and the car got of the street. They slide over the streets and crashed to a traffic shield.

The zombie flew out of the back window - he was dead (a second time).

They haven’t recovered from the shock, they realized, that a tanker drove onto them and it didn’t look like he would get out of the way.

Perhaps this virus attacked the driver, too.

Both escaped of the car in last second, the tanker crashed into the car and the building behind it. He started to burn, and from the streets more zombies came to Leon and Claire.

Now they had to go on alone, Leon called Claire that they should meet at the R.P.D.

Would they make it? Could they pass till the police station? And who can promise that it’s there safer than on the street?
