In the July of 1998 curios things happened around Raccoon.

Families reported they were attacked by a group of ten people. Victims were apparently eaten.

After that others told the police they saw big animals, looking like a dog or some similar, which were very aggressive. Then a corpse was found in a river. A grizzly or an other big animal, because of the bites, attacked the woman the police supposed

The police realized how helpless they were.

They barricaded the street, which leads through the Arklay-mountains. The Arklay-mountains

are lying at a big forest area.

But more strange murders happened.

The S.T.A.R.S.-members were the only ones who could help. The S.T.A.R.S. were grounded

To help the R.P.D. in special cases. The S.T.A.R.S. are made of two teams, the Alpha team and the Bravo team, both ones with excellent and highly qualified policemen. Every one of the teams has got his own authority, so they are occupied well.

The Bravo team was send into the woods to find out what’s happening there. Everything was ok, but then the contact broke off.

Alpha team didn’t lose time and followed their comrades to find out what happened to them.

They flew around the outskirts in the dark to search Bravo team. Near the forest they found a helicopter, which was broken down. They got down, the pilot stayed in the cockpit.

It was the helicopter of the Bravo team and nobody was in it. But nearly the total equipment was still in there, they should find out why soon…

Joseph, a member of Alpha team, looked around in the high grass what was ran wild.

Not far away of Bravo team’s helicopter, he discovered a pistol. He picked it up careful, it was heavier than a weapon normally could be. Something was hanging on it, and then he saw:

A hand, cut off from a body. Now they get into trouble, everyone was afraid.

Something lurked in the high grass, suddenly something reached for him. He couldn’t react as quick as this animal what attacked him. It mangled him.

The others couldn’t help him, so they tried to get back to their own helicopter, but at once the pilot flew away. Now it meant life or dead.

There had to be a safe point.

Then Chris, the youngest member of the Alpha team, saw an old house.

They could escape the dog-like monster what killed.

But Barry wasn’t there. Where was he gone? Perhaps…

But they couldn’t get out; it was much too dangerous there.

But they were safe. At least they thought that…

After that they heard a gunshot from one of the next rooms.

Chris was sent to look, Jill and Wesker, the leader of the S.T.A.R.S. and Alpha team stayed in the hall.
